  • The REC Foundation (Recreation Enhances Community) is a nonprofit fundraising organization dedicated to creating enhanced programs, places, and open spaces for quality recreational experiences in Paso Robles. Founded in 1999 and formally incorporated in 2000, the foundation consists of 13 members and six honorary members.

  • The foundation supports park improvements, playground renovations, public art installations, trail development, and community recreation facilities throughout Paso Robles. Notable projects include the Barney Schwartz Pumptrack, the Downtown City Park Playground renovation, the Salinas River Corridor Project, and the Centennial Pool reopening.

  • Concerts in the Park is a free, family-friendly summer concert series held on Thursday evenings from 6–8 PM in Downtown City Park. The series features a variety of musical acts and is made possible by local sponsors, with J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines serving as the presenting sponsor for over 20 years.

  • You can donate online via PayPal, through Venmo (@Recfoundation), or by mailing a check payable to the REC Foundation at 600 Nickerson Dr., Paso Robles, CA 93446.
