Following last year's smash hit of Man of La Mancha, presented free to the public, South Pacific is expected to draw crowds of over 2,000 people to enjoy the musical in the park, under the stars. The Play in the Park Series has been presenting free theatrical entertainment to the community for seven years. 

South Pacific, winner of 10 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize, is set in an island paradise during World War II. Two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. Featuring a large chorus of Seabees, sailors, female nurses, officers and islanders, the show offers wonderful roles for local talent.
