A playground with a large tree, a blue shade canopy, and colorful play structures in a park. There is a brick wall with plaques displaying donations and acknowledgments.

Who We Are

The REC Foundation — Recreation Enhances Community — is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the Paso Robles community through enhanced parks, programs, and open spaces. Founded in 1999, we work alongside the City of Paso Robles and local partners to fund and develop projects that bring people together — from playground renovations and trail improvements to beloved community traditions like our free summer Concerts in the Park series. With the support of generous donors and sponsors, we're committed to preserving and building upon the vision our city's founders set in motion over a century ago: that every resident deserves access to beautiful places and quality recreational experiences.
